Business Diagnostic — structured review of your business model, financials, pricing and growth constraint
Why People Book This

You already know something is wrong. You just can't name it.

Most business owners aren't short of effort. They're short of an accurate picture. If any of these sound familiar, the diagnostic is built for you.

"I'm working constantly and the money isn't following."

"I don't actually know if my pricing is right."

"Clients come in, but never enough and never predictably."

"I've been told to get funding — I don't know if I'm fundable."

"Revenue looks fine. There's nothing left at the end of the month."

"I've had advice from five people and it all contradicts."

What You Receive

A written report. Then a real conversation.

Not a checklist and not a sales call dressed up as advice. A document you keep, and 90 minutes of direct discussion about what's in it.

01

The Written Diagnostic

A structured report covering your model, your numbers, your positioning and your operations — with findings stated plainly and evidence behind each one.

02

The Primary Constraint

The single thing doing the most damage to your business right now, named specifically — and why fixing anything else first is wasted effort.

03

A 90-Minute Findings Call

We go through the report together, you challenge it, and you leave with a prioritised list of what to do in what order.

Don't Take My Word For It

See a real sample report.

Before you spend a cent, read a full example. This is a complete, anonymised diagnostic for a fictional wellness studio — the same structure, depth and plain-spoken findings you'd receive for your own business. It works through the reported numbers, exposes the true cost of the owner's own time, and lands on the one constraint doing the most damage.

It's the clearest possible answer to the fair question: what exactly do I get for $950?

Scope

Six areas. Every one of them examined.

The same structure used on businesses across Africa, Latin America and Europe — scaled to the size of yours.

Revenue Model

How the business actually makes money, whether that logic holds at your current scale, and where it breaks if you grow.

Financial Position

Margins, cost structure, cash cycle and break-even — what the numbers say rather than what the bank balance suggests.

Pricing

Whether you're charging what the work is worth, what the market will carry, and what a change would do to your margin.

Positioning & Market Fit

Who you're actually for, whether your offer says so clearly, and why the right clients may be passing you by.

Systems & Operations

Where the business depends entirely on you, what that costs, and which parts can be structured to run without you.

Growth Constraint

The one bottleneck holding everything else back — identified, evidenced, and ranked against everything competing for your attention.

The Credit

Continue, and the $950 disappears.

The diagnostic is credited in full against any package taken within 90 days. You're not paying for a sales pitch and you're not paying twice for the same thinking — you're paying for the first stage of work you'd have had to do anyway.

Day 10
Who Does the Work

I've run the businesses, not just advised them.

I'm Petrus Van Der Merwe. Before the advisory work, I trained as an industrial psychologist and spent years inside some of the world's largest IT companies. Then I left, and owned and ran five wellness centres across Europe alongside years of retreats, events and workshops. I know what it's like to make payroll, price a service nobody has priced before, and watch a good business quietly bleed money for reasons nobody can name.

The Guarantee

If the diagnostic doesn't surface something about your business you didn't already know, tell me on the findings call and I'll refund the full $950. No argument, no forms. I'd rather lose the fee than have you pay for something you didn't get.

Questions

Before you book.

Is $950 worth it when I'm already tight on money?

That's exactly the situation the credit is designed for. If you go on to take any package within 90 days, the full $950 comes off — so the diagnostic costs nothing. And if it doesn't tell you something you didn't know, you get it back. The realistic downside is a refunded fee; the realistic upside is finding out where your money has been going.

I already know what my problem is. Do I need this?

Sometimes you do know. More often what's identified is a symptom rather than the cause — pricing gets blamed when the real issue is positioning, or marketing gets blamed when the real issue is margin. If you're right and I find nothing new, the guarantee applies and you pay nothing.

What stage does my business need to be at?

Anywhere from pre-launch to established and struggling. Pre-launch businesses get a diagnostic of the plan and its assumptions. Operating businesses get a diagnostic of the reality. Both are useful — they just look different.

My books are a mess. Is that a problem?

No, and it's very common. Bring whatever you have — bank statements, invoices, a spreadsheet, notes. Part of the value is putting a clear structure around numbers that have never had one.

I'm not in your country. Does that matter?

No. The work is done remotely and I work across Africa, Latin America and Europe. Calls are scheduled around your time zone.

Will this turn into a sales pitch?

The report is yours regardless of what you do next. If there's work I can genuinely help with, I'll say so and send a proposal — and you're free to take the report and do it yourself, or hand it to someone else entirely.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. Everything shared is treated as confidential, and a mutual confidentiality agreement is signed before intake if you'd prefer one in writing.
